Camping over Labor Day Weekend

This post a month late due to picture problems
We took my parents camp trailer and went camping over Labor day weekend with Shari and Elliot and their kids. We had such a good time... once we got there! Long story short we had to borrow Shari's Suburban to haul the trailer, which broke down just short of Horseshoe Bend. They had it towed home and Elliot took their trailer up then came back down to get ours and my parents brought up Mike and Julie's Excursion so we could get home... ya it was CRAZY! Thanks to everyone who helped get us there and back! We had a ton of fun and really good food... dutch oven chicken and potatoes with bacon (Elliot's specialty), and a really yummy roast amongst other things!

Shari is so much fun to be around and Kaylie (in the background) was soooo nice and took good care of Grady, she is such a good cousin/babysitter!
Sarah Jane's idea of a good roasting stick!
The camper was so nice to have... thanks Dad & Mom!
Other than the first day and for a couple of hours in the afternoon it was cold so the fire was going most of the time... I'm so glad we moved the fire pit to a better place. Before we moved it we couldn't get the chairs all the way around it and there were ruts where kids could trip. Elliot gave us a hard time about moving it so I had to add that in!
Proof that I was on this camping trip.
Shari and Elliot cooking! Yummy!
S'mores... is there another reason to go camping?
Gus built some great camp fires with the help of Braden and Easton. I love a good camp fire!
My parents camp trailer. I'm so glad we had it and our little buddy heater otherwise we would have frozen!
Yum!
I love these two, they are such happy guys!
The girls had such a great time with the Kirk kids!

East Coast Drakes

Warning: Lots and Lots of Picture... mostly for Terra!
The East Coast Drake Family
Anna, Carlie, Rachel, and Sarah Jane!
The girls had a lot of fun playing together!

This kid is just too cute... look at all that chub!
Playing RBI Baseball on the Nintendo... it's a tradition!
Can you guess who the favorite uncle is? Uncle Sam... he's a push over when it comes to these kids!
Best Buddies/Cousins... Spencer and Felix
Best Buddies/Cousins... Grady and Adam
Grady, Abigail, and Sarah Jane
The three BSU Graduates!
A tradition when Zach and Terra come into town... we go to the Boise State campus and go to the bookstore and then go to see the Bronco. The future BSU students!
Grady got bored at the bookstore.
Another tradition... Yummy!
The little Drake kids minus the little boys.
apparently they don't like smiling into the sun!
Uncle Sam playing with Grady and Sarah Jane... Grandpa in the background playing with the other kids.
We took the kids to see Toy Story 3... such a funny movie, they loved it!
Grandma Charlotte watching Toy Story with her Grandkids.
They all wanted to sit by her!

Breakfast with this crew was a lot of fun!
Grandpa Randy reading to Sarah Jane, Abigail, and Carlie. These girls love to be read to, they love Grandpa!
Zach and Delbert Ririe holding Adam Delbert Drake.
Mom and Dad watched the kids for us while we went to Olive Garden for dinner with the Riries... good food and a great time!
Del Ririe was one of the great young men leaders that helped make Zach and Gus into the great missionaries, husbands, fathers, and men that they are today... I am thankful for the faithful men that not only fulfilled their callings but loved the young men they were serving!
The tie exchange... ugly ones... I have to admit that they are growing on me!
We are so glad that Zach, Terra, and the kids were able to come this year. The last time they were here was two years ago, when Sarah Jane was just 2 months old... we got to meet Abigail and Adam for the first time, while they met Grady. We loved having them stay with us, they are so easy to have around and the kids have a blast together! We love you guys!

Party Pics

A coworker of mine had a birthday party for his little boy last Saturday. Our little ones had a blast. They had someone walking around taking pictures (possibly a photographer...she did have a camera). These are some of the ones that she took of our kids. The one w/ Carlie and Grady is too dang cute!

Krispy Kreme

Carolee calls me at work and says that she has a hankerin' for some Krispy Kreme. Needless to say, we went. Here are the girls and the boy, hat and all. The girls liked the "gonuts" that we got for them.
