Grady the Baller

Grady is such a fun little boy...
and he is ALL boy!
He loves to play with the basketball and he is always trying to dribble.
The other night he was playing around and I took some video, it was pretty cute.
Keep in mind that Grady is only 20months old

He gets in some good dribbling at the end of the clip.

The Little Princess

Carlie went to a birthday party today that was a princess theme so we borrowed a dress and did make-up, curled her hair and painted her nails! She was so excited! The party was for her friend Ella and last Sunday Ella dressed as a princess escorted by her teenage brother (Preston) in a white shirt and tie came to our door to formally invite Carlie, she was in awe! Preston read a proclamation loud and clear and then Ella gave Carlie a princess wand and a ring to wear to the party... it was awesome!

HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY GUS!

We had a fun weekend with lots of friends and family!
On Friday we met some great friends at Texas Roadhouse (our favorite) for dinner!

I had a lot of fun welcoming Gus to the thirty's!

Saturday night we went to the Rowleys and had a party with some of our friends and family which was a blast!
We had black balloons, black streamers, and the works! He received some great gifts including some hair dye for his gray hair, some reading glasses, and a phone book!

Just take a look at that bonfire! Wow!

Then Monday we went to Louie's Restraunt and had a party with the Drake family... Monday was Sam's (Gus' little brother) Birthday, Gus and his sister Milbry share March 1st for their Birthday!

Grandma Walker, Mom, Dad, Aunt Lissa, Uncle Hal, Davis, Uncle Clair, Andrew, Milbry, Juliana, Jordan(friend), Mekai, Sam, Gus, Me, Carlie, Sarah Jane, and Grady... as always we missed Zach, Terra and family!

Tuesday, his actual Birthday, we had a couple of families over for cake and ice cream.
I am so thankful to have Gus in my life.
He is a wonderful husband, father, provider, and best friend.

Grandpa came out for the day that started at Gus' basketball game at 7:45am. He was a great help getting the motorcycle where it needed to be and he stayed for Carlie's game. Thanks Grandpa!

We sold the motorcycle which was sad but a blessing.

Grandma was so nice to make sugar cookies with my girls! Did I mention how much I LOVE sugar cookies! They are so yummy! Thanks Grandma!!

The girls had a ton of fun and did a great job decorating!

We had a blast with some great friends at Chili's... Ryan and Pamela were in town and so we all got together and had a ton of fun catching up. It was great to see Tom and Alisha, and Nate and Amanda! I haven't laughed that hard in quite a while! Thanks for the FUN!

Since I showed off Carlie and her memorizing skills I thought it only fair that Sarah Jane get her chance!
We are re-learning the Articles of Faith...

Memorizing Machine

Carlie is a very smart little girl who has a gift for memorizing! In our ward our Bishop encourages the children to memorize the 13 Articles of Faith by having them recite them to him after church on Sunday. If they do it the bishop gives them a piece of candy! The prospect of candy is a big motivator for Carlie so while she was in Nursery (3 years old) she memorized ALL of the 13 Articles of Faith! Since she has passed them all off the Bishop encouraged her to try the Scripture Mastery's.
