Happy 1st Birthday Grady!

So it's official... I am the worst Mom EVER! Yes, this post is a month late but that isn't where the worst Mom EVER comes into play. I forgot my baby boy's first birthday... We were up at our family reunion and Grady's birthday came and went on Friday July 16th. It wasn't until I crept into our cabin at 2am from playing that I thought about it, and I felt so bad and didn't sleep well. I bawled to Gus and my Mom the next day... and yes I realize that Grady doesn't know or care at this point but at least the little guy should have gotten a hug and kiss and been told Happy Birthday on his very first birthday.

What a sweet baby boy... 7lbs 4oz

He is such a blessing in our lives!

Grady is now 21 lbs 6oz in the 30% and is 30 inches tall in the 70%... he is catching up to Sarah Jane who weighs 25 lbs and is 34 inches tall.

Grady loved the cake and made a big mess!

I can't even express how thankful I am to have this little boy in my life. He is such a sweet and happy boy who is so much like his dad.

Waltman Family Reunion 2010

This year we went up to Anderson Ranch for our reunion. My sister-in-laws family was so nice to let us use their beautiful place. We had such a great time doing our traditional activities... Fear Factor, Auction, Skit Night and we also had fun with Minute to win it, 4-wheelers, motorcycles, and zip lines.

Alturas Lake 2010

This year we went up to Alturas Lake with the Drake family and Great Grandma Walker of course! We had so much fun and it was so relaxing. We stayed in nice cabins at Cabin Creek. We got there on Wednesday early evening and stayed until Saturday afternoon. The group was made up of... Great Grandma Walker, Grandma Drake, Grandpa Drake, Uncle Sam, Juliana, Mekai, Felix, Gus, Carolee, Carlie, Sarah Jane, and Grady! We really missed having Milbry, Roger, Zach, Terra, Spencer, Anna, Rachel, Abigail, and Adam with us up there. We had such a great time and everyone was so helpful with the kids. Grandma Walker was so nice to let us have a cabin to ourselves, which was a good thing because the kids woke up throughout the night and they got to take naps. It is so beautiful there! It was just awesome to look around and see the gorgeous mountains and trees everywhere!

We had a nice bed to sleep in and Grady slept downstairs with us... the girls did really well sleeping upstairs all by themselves! This was the scene every morning!
