After a day of playing outside in the park and having beautiful weather Gus, Carlie, and I were getting ready to go to Tyner and Judson's Graduation BBQ. While getting ready the thunder started and the rain came pounding down. A few minutes into the storm the hail started... small at first then it got bigger and it lasted about half an hour! We were late to the BBQ because we couldn't get to the car! Luckly my brother's house has a nice big porch and he has a nice open home so that the BBQ could go on. Wow what a storm though!

Memorial Day!
Gus, Carlie, and I met Gus' Dad, Randy, at Elm Grove Park in Boise so that they could play tennis. Carlie and I had fun on the nice toys and swings that are right there by the tennis courts. We all had a great time and then went and picked up Gus' Mom, Charlotte, from her house and grabbed some lunch from Arby's. It was a beautiful day and it was great to spend some time with Gus' parents and be outside and enjoy the weather!

Carlie is all ready for church! She insists on carrying my scriptionaries, that's what she calls them anyway! I guess some kid in nursery beat up on her last week so now she is a little weary of going to class, poor girl, although being around so many cousins is teaching her how to defend herself!
I just thought that I would post this picture of my Mom since it was taken on Mothers Day. It has been so nice of my parents to let us live with them, I know that we're not easy to live with but they put up with us. I love my Mom and think that she is wonderful. She is a great example to me, and has been so helpful watching Carlie for me while I have had my Doctor apts. I am sure she will be great after the baby comes... Thanks Mom, I love you!

Carlie Moments
The other night my mom was holding Carlie and her cousin Kenedy. My mom was pretending to sleep and so was snoring loud, Carlie and Kenedy laughed hard it was so cute! Then Carlie turned to my mom and said, "Grandma, that's just like Grandpa!" She said it every time after that.
Yesterday Carlie was taking a bath and I was in my room. She started crying and so I went in there and asked her what was wrong. She looked at me with her sad face and said, "I'm naked mom!"

The Horse Ride!
My brother Vaughn lives next door to my parents, he and his kids were out riding horses the other day and they let Carlie have a ride. She was pretty scared at first but then she warmed up and didn't want to get off. She got to ride our old horse Vadar. I used to ride that horse all the time but now he is really old and perfect for little kids. The last picture is of Carlie and her cousin Aubry (Vaughn's little girl). Carlie loved it!
Fun at Grandpa and Grandma Waltman's
Carlie has been having a blast here at my parents house. Carlie has gotten to know her cousin Kenedy really well and they have a ton of fun together. She has Grandma wrapped around her little finger as you can see. My mom pushed her around in the little blue truck for a few minutes. The last picture is of Carlie sitting in Grandpa's chair thinking she is pretty cool!
First sunburn of the season!
Since we have moved in with my parents Carlie has been constantly entertained with cousins, grandparents, toys, animals, trampolines, etc... While she was outside in early April she got her first sunburn of the season. I know, I am such a bad mom that I didn't even think about sunscreen since she was wearing a jacket, it was pretty chilly that day. She has since recovered and is no longer the same color as her pj's.
