Fun with the Waltman's

We had a ton of fun on Saturday with my family.
We went out to the foothills by Emmett and took a bunch of 4wheelers and a couple of motorcycles and took turns riding.
Here is the fam just sitting around waiting for a turn and watching the kids play in the mud!

It sprinkled for a little while, but we stuck it out!

It had been raining all morning so it was a muddy day!
Carlie with a few cousins waiting out the rain in the back of Aunt Shari's Suburban. (Kara, Kenedy, Aubry, and Carlie)
Gus also went shooting with Bryce, Daniel, Vaughn, Tyner, and Ross. He loves shooting those whistle pigs. Yuck! ... and no, Sarah Jane is not a whistle pig.
Then we had a BBQ at my parents house in Middleton... Yummy Food!

Uncle Mike was giving the kids rides around the yard on a little motorcycle, they were loving it!
Uncle Lance was pulling kids behind a little 4wheeler, they were having a blast and it was quite entertaining to watch them crash into each other!

Articles of Faith

As a family we have been memorizing the Articles of Faith. I've mentioned that Carlie gets a piece of candy if she can say them to the Bishop... that has really helped motivate her. To help her learn them we each take turns saying it and then we all say it together, we give her a chance to try it by herself and sometimes she shocks us by doing the whole thing! We started the 4th one just this last week and I can't believe how quickly she picked it up and it is also cool that she can remember all of the other ones. We also work on learning a new song about every other week, mind you this is all just for about five minutes before bed. I feel like we are creating a foundation for teaching Carlie and Sarah Jane the gospel just by doing these little things. It also helps me reflect on the things that I believe in and know to be true.

Sarah Jane Walking!

Sarah Jane is just shy of eleven months old, she started taking steps around nine and a half to ten months. Now she walks all around the house, she isn't totally steady but she does pretty well. We are encouraging her and hope she will be a good little walker by the time our next baby is born in a little over two months!

Trampoline Trick!

The other day we had some really nice weather and Carlie got in some fun on the tramp. She just learned to land on her feet after doing a trick!
