Happy Fathers Day!

What a handsome husband I have. I am so thankful for Gus and the great Father he is to our little girls! He is so helpful and playful with them. They get so excited to see him when he comes home from work! Carlie is always repeating everything he says (which is not so good sometimes) and Sarah Jane is a total daddy's girl. He is so great with the girls especially since I am too pregnant to get down and play with them. We Love you!

For Sarah Jane's birthday we were going to buy a little tikes car but Grandma Drake had one that someone had given her so she gave it to the girls!

I must say that Sarah Jane is quite the back seat driver! Too Cute, Carlie put her back there!!

The girls have been having so much fun with it... and yes Carlie does, on occasion, let Sarah Jane drive.

One Year ago...

Happy 1st Birthday Sarah Jane!

We love our Sarah Jane and we're so happy to have her as part of our family! She is such a sweet heart and a Daddy's girl. She loves Carlie and follows her around all day! She loves me too! She makes us laugh all the time and is such a character. We love you Sarah Jane Happy Birthday!

Lovin' the Summer

In preparation for the summer we bought a swimming pool and a sprinkler for the girls. So far they love them... lets just hope that it gets us through the summer! It was so hot one day that I filled the pool up at ten in the morning and an hour later the water was warm. Carlie played in it all day long taking breaks only to eat. They both played after lunch for an hour or so and then it was nap time! Needless to say they both slept for a long time... what is it about water that makes you so tired?

Camping Memorial Weekend

We took our girls camping the Friday and Saturday over Memorial Day Weekend. We had a great time and it was beautiful. We went with my sister Valerie and her family, and my brother Brandon and his family.

She really was a "Happy Camper". She had a ton of fun playing with her cousins and going for rides on the 4wheelers.

Gus had a good time riding motorcycles and going fishing.

Summer Fun

These pictures are from that first super hot day in May... I know I'm behind! We pulled out a little sprinkler for Carlie to play with on the trampoline.

Carlie had a blast... and so did Gus!

Then we ate our dinner out on the back patio... it was just too nice to go back inside. It was a nice day!

Sleep Over at Grandma's

While my younger sister Tiffany was in town (a few weeks ago) my Mom had a girls sleep over at her house for the girls in the family! We had a lot of fun! There were yummy treats, fun/funny games, makeovers, dancing, toilet papering, lots of laughing and very little sleep!

The party was still going on when Carlie had had enough around midnight! I think she had fun at her first sleep over. She was in the same room we were still partying in but slept through the loud music and dancing!
